February 28, 2012 (2nd Letter)

Family!! How is everyone doing back home?? It's so great to hear about everyone doing well!! I'm so happy for you all! Is there anything I can for you guys?? If there is just let me know ok?? So it's officially been two weeks and one day. It is soooo crazy!! The time flies by sooooo fast here. And by the way dad, I have an hour on tuesday to write letters, but my P-day is on thursdays. The others I wanted the email to be passed to was taped on the oven. Anyways, I just barely got back from the Temple and that is always a wonderful feeling! I hope we all have the opportunity to go as a family, everyone, in the next two years!! I love it here and honestly I really don't have too much to report on!! The schedule is the exact same every single week, filled with studying, teaching, and learning. What more could you need? I have learn sooo much more than I have in the last 18 years! It's amazing how that works! It still kind of startles me to realize I am a missionary!! But what a happy experience at the same time!! My companion is still awesome and the work goes on. We have two investigators now, and both said they'd get baptized if they got an answer it was true! So hopefully we can help them recognize the spirit so they will know!! It's amazing what goes on in a lesson and the spirit that we feel. Oh yeah! Our tuesday night devotional we had M. Russell Ballard come and talk to us!! It was amazing to have a prophet speak so highly of you and to give you suvch encouraging words! God Loves us all and will make a way for us to return home. I know we can be a family forever and the only way is through the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Atonement, and continually lining ourselves in Christ's footsteps! I love you family and I am so happy to here and there is NO other place i would rather be. I love you guys, but I am not coming home for another two years. I love you all!! Pass on my love please!! First Letter!

Hey family!! I miss you guys so much! I hope everything is going well back home! How is Christee doing? I miss her sooo much! But Things here are going absolutely amazing! I love it here at the MTC and I'm so excited that I am a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is such a blessing to be able to stand as his servant and help others! It's cool how they do it here because we have an investigator we've been teaching since the 2nd day we got here! She says she'll be baptized if she receives an answer to her questions! We teach her again today and I'm excited to find out what happens. We also teach in all spanish, so it's kinda hard to say what you want to say because you don't know how to say it!! Our class just is straight spanish. From moment one our teacher has spoken nothing but Spanish to us. The cool thing is that I understand it!! I'm so very blessed and I'm picking the language pretty well. I know it'll get alot harder soon though. I can't believe it has already been a week!, The days go by soooo slowly, but the week just flies by! It's weird! haha I hope you guys are well back home! and I hope I hear from you today! or hopefully by next week! And Sterling thank you so much for the letter. Means so much to me and it really helps. I'm happy to be here and I've seen a billion people i know here!! haha I see Easton all the time and he's doing really well! My companions name is from Portland oregon! He's a stud and is the district leader for our district.
